The Road to Avengers: Endgame | A Marvel Movie Marathon

Now that we’re officially in 2019, there’s only one thing I’m really thinking about – Avengers: Endgame. The movie we’ve waited over 10 years for is so close that it’s time to start preparing for its release, and what better way than with a Marvel Movie Marathon.

With 21 movies to get through, and only four months left until Endgame hits cinema screens worldwide, my plan is to watch one Marvel movie every Friday from today until April, which is when I’ll try and fit two in each week until the 27th – Endgame day (the movie is actually released on the 26th of April, but I need to watch Captain Marvel first).

I hope you guys will consider taking part with me – it will be fun to watch them all together.

Here’s the trailer if you haven’t seen it yet.

The Schedule

It’s been a while since I’ve worked my way through all the Marvel films back to back, so the hard part was figuring out what order to watch them in, and whilst there are two obvious choices – in order of theatrical release, and chorological order – I think I’ve settled on something that will keep everyone happy. It’s basically release order, but Guardians 1 and 2 will be watched together.

One more thing before I share my Road to Endgame schedule – as well as watching the movies, I’m going to be releasing a post about each film as I see it, containing a list of all the filming locations I spotted, that you can visit in real life.

I love the idea of visiting all of the Marvel film sets one day, and hopefully these lists will inspire someone else to take the trip as well, so make sure to keep an eye out every Saturday – I will add a link in this post to every new set of movie locations I compile.

    1. Haha thanks! Yes, it’s going to be a little intense, but I feel like I’ve left myself enough time to take them all in. Usually it would be a two week binge session for me.

    1. It’s actually quite fascinating seeing which films were shot where, and I had no idea so many were actually filmed in England. I am so going to be heading on an Avengers road trip once I’ve finished all my research. Even the Avengers HQ is in England!!

    1. Haha I know right? Though I feel like I’ve left enough time to space them out quite nicely and really take them in. Not going to lie, usually I’d just binge all the films in like a week or something and it would be super intense.
